My most recent film project was a short film that I wrote and directed called 'Mistakes'. This film will be my graduation film from Sheffield Hallam University.

 

The film is a short drama about real relationships. Alexa and Sam have been best friends for years. When the changes in the relationships around them convince them to be together, will it be as perfect as expected?

 

My hope is that 'Mistakes' portrays characters that everybody knows and can relate to, and touches emotions in the viewer that feel very personal, even if they have never encountered those experiences in their own lives. It was written based on my own struggles with love and similar stories from friends and family. 

 

'Mistakes' premiered at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield to an audience of 250, as part of the Capture 14 Graduation Exhibition on June 5th 2014.
